Who said water is boring? Whoever said that will regret it after reading and trying today’s detox water recipes out. Whether you want to slim down or look younger, stronger, and healthier, water is the key. Everything in life starts getting better after removing all the toxic entities around us. The same happens with your body. How do I get rid of these toxins? By drinking 6-8 cups of water per day or simply
through detox. For the ones who hate the taste of water –which is none, whatever you are drinking won’t do the same magic. It is probably mixed with some kind of chemicals which instead will add up even more toxins to your body. However, if you are drinking water with your favorite fruits or veggies, then thumbs up to you! For this post, I came up with five different detox recipes which also happens to be my favorites, so you can change up a little that routine and enjoy more drinking water. Remember, all this is for you to glow 😉
1. Lecum Wonder
3 small slice of Cucumber (depending on how much you like it)
1/4 of a small red apple (peeled)
Tips: Squeeze the lemon/lime to the water before pouring in the other ingredients. In order for the water to get flavor, let it sit for around 5-10 mins.
Facts: Lemons help you flush out your toxins while cucumbers help you to avoid retain water.
2. 0 Calorie Cinnamon
*For all cinnamon lovers, here’s your recipe!*
1 sliced apple
1 stick of cinnamon
Tips: Add up additional slices of apple or cinnamon for a stronger flavor.
Facts: his detox recipes will definitely help you boost up your metabolism.
3. Sour Ginger
1/2 inch knob of ginger root
Handful of mint leaves (optional)
Tips: Squeeze the lemon before inserting it to the water. Grate the ginger into the water using a zester or cheese grater. Drink it first thing in the morning to have an energetic and fresh start of the day.
Facts: Ginger is a natural pain reliever which will help you relieve pain all day while lemon will help you please your toxins.
4. Ahh Peppermint
Handful of peppermint leaves
1/2 sliced orange
3 slices of cucumber (depending on how much you like it)
Tips: Discard it every 12 hrs; citric fruits tend to get mushy.
Facts: This recipe will help you clean out your kidneys and reduce bloating.
5. Pineapple à la Caribbean
2 sticks of sugar cane
Few chunks of fresh Pineapple
Tips: You may use canned but it tastes better with fresh pineapples. Let it sit on the fridge for a 1-2 hours. The longer it sits the better it is going to taste.
Facts: This drink will take you and your imagination to the Caribbean; if you are not there yet.
These recipes are not only about slimming but also help you keep an healthy lifestyle. Unlike other drinks, you may drink these waters every day. Changing a little the routine never hurts 😉
